Structured A/B testing for $5M+ Shopify brands

We have been wrong about your store 2,500 times.

That is not a confession, it is the whole product. Every test we ran that failed is a mistake you never have to pay for. Conversion Dude is a senior-only CRO team that finds revenue already sitting inside your Shopify store, and proves it with data instead of taste.

Why work with us

Five reasons, and none of them are "we're passionate."

You can hire an agency that will redesign your store and hope. We would rather tell you which of your assumptions is costing you money this quarter.

01 · The moat

2,500 tests across 50+ brands is a pattern library nobody can build in a quarter

We know which "obvious best practices" reliably fail, which patterns travel between stores, and which ones only work in your category. You are not paying for opinions. You are paying for everything we already got wrong on somebody else's traffic.

02 · Senior only

No juniors behind the curtain

The people you talk to are the people who write the hypothesis, build the variant, read the result, and tell you honestly when it lost. There is no account manager relaying your question to someone who has never run a test.

03 · Revenue, not aesthetics

A prettier store is not a better store

We have watched beautiful redesigns quietly cost brands money, and ugly little changes print it. The only metric we defend is revenue per visitor. If a test wins on clicks and loses on revenue, it lost.

04 · No lock-in

Month to month. Cancel any month.

No twelve-month contract, no exit fee, no clause designed to keep you paying after we stop earning it. A retainer you can end at any time is the most honest performance incentive there is, and we run the entire business on it.

05 · We show the losers

You see every result, including the ones that failed

Most tests do not win. That is normal, and any agency showing you a wall of winners is showing you a highlight reel. Knowing what does not work on your store is worth nearly as much as knowing what does.

A word from Andreas

Everyone is optimizing the wrong end of the funnel.

Think about where the money and the attention actually go in this industry. Ads. Creative. Influencers. Email flows. New channels. All of it aimed at one job: getting a person to the website. And then, at the exact moment that person arrives, the moment where the money is either taken or lost, everyone gets strangely relaxed about it. The store gets treated like a brochure. Something you redesign every two years because it started to feel dated.

The website is not a brochure. It is the checkout counter of the entire business. Every channel you will ever run, every dollar you will ever spend on traffic, every campaign and collaboration, all of it terminates in the same place. The store is the one piece of the funnel that every other piece depends on, and it is the piece nobody wants to touch with data.

Traffic is rented. The site is owned.

Stop paying Meta and the traffic stops that afternoon. But a conversion rate improvement does not stop. It applies to every visitor you get for the rest of the year, from every channel, including the ones you have not launched yet. It is the only lever in the business that quietly multiplies everything else you do.

So when a founder tells me their acquisition costs have gotten brutal, my honest answer is usually not "let's fix your ads." It is this: you are paying full price for every visitor and then converting two out of a hundred. Fix the two, and every visitor you already bought just got cheaper.

The second thing I believe cost me more to learn. My instincts are not that good. Neither are yours. Neither is anyone's. I have sat in rooms where five experienced people agreed completely about what a page needed, and then watched the test say the opposite. That happened often enough that I stopped trusting the room. Most of what I was certain about in year one did not survive contact with real traffic.

We don't guess. Not because we're smarter, because we agreed to be corrected.

That is what the 2,500 tests are really for. They are not there to look impressive on a homepage. They are the only thing standing between us and confidently expensive opinions.

It is also why I started the podcast. You cannot learn everything about a brand from its analytics. Numbers tell you where people drop off. They do not tell you what the founder was trying to build, what nearly killed the company, or why the product exists at all. I wanted to hear that directly, from founders, on the record. It has made me better at this job than any dashboard has. And after enough years of staring at funnels, talking to the people behind them is still the part that feels like the good part.

Andreas is the one you hear from. Samuel is the reason 2,500 tests actually got run.

Samuel runs the machine: process, systems, and the operational spine that lets a small senior team run a serious volume of tests without dropping any of them. If the work stays consistent, if results land when they were promised, and if nothing falls through the crack between two clients, that is Samuel.

Every agency has a person like this. Most of them do not put him on the About page.

How we actually work

A loop, not a project

Conversion rate is not something you finish. It is a rate you compound.

  1. 1

    Find the leaks

Analytics, session recordings, heatmaps, and a manual teardown of the buying path by someone who has walked a thousand of them.

  2. 2

    Form a real hypothesis

Not "let's try a green button." A specific claim about a specific friction, with a specific expected effect on revenue.

  3. 3

    Build and run the test

Real split testing on real traffic, read statistically, with no vanity metrics allowed into the report.

  4. 4

Ship the winner, keep the loser

Winners go live. Losers go into the library, because knowing what fails on your store is worth almost as much as knowing what works.

  5. 5

    Repeat, forever

Each cycle makes the next one smarter. That is why our longest client is five years in and we are still finding uplifts.

Let's save us both a quarter

We are not for everybody

Probably not a fit

  • You want a prettier site more than a more profitable one
  • Traffic is too low to reach significance, so we would be selling you statistics we cannot deliver
  • You want a guaranteed conversion rate. Anyone guaranteeing you one is inexperienced or lying
  • You need every test to win in order to stay calm

Built for you

  • Shopify or DTC, roughly $5M and up, with real traffic
  • You want a compounding revenue lever, not a redesign
  • You can live with losing tests because the winners more than pay for them
  • You would rather be told the truth than be told you were right

We don't optimize for aesthetics. We optimize for revenue.

Where to start

We will run through your store live, on the call.

1

We open your store live

No deck, no discovery phase. We share the screen and walk your buying path on the call.

2

You see the biggest leaks

Where revenue is going missing, why we think so, and in what order we would test the fixes.

3

You keep the recording

Hand it straight to your dev team, whether or not you ever hire us. That is the point.
